**CLASS** Improv Curves with Jenny Haynes of Papper, Sax, Sten

Machine Pieced Curves with Jenny Haynes
When: Sunday 15th September 10am - 5pm
Ability: Previous knowledge of basic patchwork is essential

We are so pleased that Jenny is returning to the Studio in September to teach her Improv Curves

She is the master of piecing curves on the machine; her quilts are instantly recognisable for their clean and simple mid-century modern designs. Jenny gained a Highly Commended for her Sunflower Quilt at Festival of Quilts last year and has had three of her quilts accepted into QuiltCon in Nashville this year.

No rules, no rulers. In this liberating class we learn how to cut, sew and press improvised curves. Jenny will also cover other techniques, like the inset circle and the skinny inset strip, that are excellent skill-builders and perfect for your improv or planned quilt.

You can also play with her quilting templates and benefit from a 10% discount if you would like to buy your own set on the day.You can learn more about Jenny on her website here.

    Requirements for the class:
Fabric requirements will be sent to you after booking but a few fat quarters will be enough to start playing with curves.
Sewing machines provided as well as tea/coffee and biscuits
Please note this class is non refundable/transferable.
